Gorgeous with just the right amount of darkness to draw readers in.Glows (flashback to my teaching days there): The only way I felt I could do this justice was to list my likes (glows) and dislikes (grows). The books entertained me enough to continue reading them and I didn’t skim, but they just fell short. I gave it an overall rating of 3, based on my scale. The WITSEC series has been that way for me. I will, however, say that not all readers will relate with all books. I will never bash someone’s work that they put out for people to read because it’s their baby and they’ve put blood, sweat, and tears into creating something for readers to fall in love with. I usually try to write a review for each individual book except I had mixed emotions about this series and figured getting my thoughts out about it as a whole was the way to go. Will I succumb to my grief and let it destroy me? Or will my guys be able to save me?Ĭheck trigger warnings before reading. But that won’t happen with my grief tearing me apart. What started as friendship between them and me has become something more. They are my only light in the drowning darkness. ![]() The Stone brothers are the reason I can smile again. ![]()
